Study data on your device
DMVCue does not require an account. The iOS app saves your state selection, lesson progress, bookmarks, practice drafts, mistakes, answers, and dated practice results locally so you can resume studying.
The app does not send your study data to the publisher. This version has no in-app advertising or analytics service.
System backups and deleting data
Your device may include local study data in iCloud or computer backups, depending on your settings. Those backups are managed by your operating system and account settings.
Deleting the app removes its app-local data from the device. Offloading does not. Backup copies may remain until you remove or replace them through your system backup settings.
How saved data changes
Removing a bookmark removes that saved-card entry. Correct practice can clear related mistakes. Finishing a practice session replaces its unfinished draft with a dated result. Curriculum updates can reset unfinished quizzes and the mistakes queue; entries tied to removed lessons or questions can also be removed. Completed results keep their original curriculum version.
Unreadable progress recovery
If you choose to recover an unreadable progress file, a copy of the original stays in local app storage until that storage is removed. The app does not merge unreadable history into new study progress.
Opening official sources
When you open an official source link in Safari or your chosen browser, the browser connects to that publisher. Its privacy practices apply, and it may receive ordinary web-request information. DMVCue does not include your study progress in the link.
Contacting the publisher
If you contact the publisher, the information you choose to provide is used to respond. Use the privacy contact above for questions about this policy or the app’s handling of data.
Email correspondence
Support and privacy emails can include your email address, name, message, attachments, and any information you choose to send. Cloudflare Email Routing is the forwarding service for these addresses, and the destination inbox is hosted by Google Gmail. These providers process message content and delivery information to route, deliver, store, and protect correspondence. Their privacy practices also apply: Cloudflare Privacy Policy and Google Privacy Policy.
The publisher uses correspondence to respond to your request and follow up on the issue. Please avoid sending sensitive documents. You can request deletion of correspondence using the privacy address above. The publisher cannot access or delete study data stored only on your device; use the app and device controls described above.
